Bánh bao Cả Cần
Xuất hiện từ đầu những năm thập niên 70, “Bánh bao Cả Cần” là loại bánh bao đặc chất của người miền Nam (sản xuất ở Sài Gòn). Khác với bánh bao của người Hoa, ăn vào có vị bùi hơn và không dính răng. Nhân bánh bao đa số được làm hoàn toàn bằng thịt băm, rau, nấm… và đặc biệt là cần tay. “Bánh bao Cả Cần” nổi tiếng ở Sài Gòn từ những thế kỷ trước, món bánh này bắt nguồn ở tại khu vực đường Nguyễn Tri Phương (quận 5 – Chợ Lớn cũ) từ đó mà được nhiều người hợp khẩu vị ưa chuộng đến bây giờ. Nay Papa Banh Bao xin hân hạnh được giới thiệu đến mọi người món bánh bao ngon mê ly ấy ngay tại Seattle-Washington.
Ca Can Bao
Appeared from the early 70s, “Ca Can buns” is a unique type of steamed wheat buns of the South (made in Saigon). Unlike Chinese steamed pork buns, eating this tastes better and doesn’t stick to your teeth. Mostly made entirely of minced meat, vegetables and mushrooms … and especially “ cả cần” (celery). The famous “Ca Can steam buns” is from Saigon many centuries ago, this dish is originated in the area of Nguyen Tri Phuong Street (District 5 – Old Cholon), it’s popularity grew when it first came out and many people favored this delicious bun til today. Now, Papa Banh Bao is pleased to introduce to everyone that delicious steamed buns right here in Seattle-Washington.
